Walden

Walden Pond in Concord MA is just two miles from my front porch. Henry David Thoreau found sanctuary there during his two-year residency on the property from 1845 to 1847 and the experience informed his writings. When I walk the perimeter, swim these waters, or just sit and gaze, I am revitalized, renewed and am in joy.
